You drew this family portrait the other night. It has your Mom, myself, you and your baby sister in it, all to (rough) proportions.

You were extremely proud, and wanted me to take a picture of it immediately, even though it was almost 10 o’clock at night and you were supposed to be sleeping.

Needless to say, I took the picture. You watched, from your bed, because you just couldn’t sleep until I had done so.

This is titled “Dog on Sidewalk” and was drawn a bright and sunny day several weeks ago. This was the first representational artwork that Alphie has drawn. She even stood back from it, considered what she had done, and added the tail.

This was drawn this evening, while Alphie was in bed “reading”. She called downstairs “Daddy, I drew a picture of you in mommy’s book!”

Needless to say, I love it and I think she even captured a certain likeness.
