Calls for help from the bathtub.

This evening Alphie took a bath. It was the second bath in two days. For the last six months she has refused all baths and has only taken showers.

The cause of the sudden change in preference is a “Little Mermaid” bath toy that arrived as a birthday present from her Aunt Liz. This lead to the following communication, portions of which were conveyed with sharp yells that echoed from the bathroom.

Alphie: I have a lot of slight problems!

Angie (trying not to laugh too much): Dad, your daughter has a lot of slight problems. She has a slide that is broken, the clam-shell has fallen off, and both suction cups are loose.

Alphie: And the castle is in the water!

It's not the worst wording in the world. I have hundreds of "slight problems", such as the basement of my castle going under water from time to time.
