You made waffles last weekend.

You made waffles this past weekend with your Grannie Annie.

The process was quite intensive. You helped mix the batter, and then you scooped the batter onto the griddle.


Then you scooped a little more.



You adore staying at your Grannie and Deda’s house for the weekend. You run yourself ragged with joy, trying to catch every last moment of fun. We often have tears when we have to leave, and we even have tears, coupled with requests to call Grannie, when we arrive home.

I think the smile you had on your face as you made waffles with your Grannie says it all.
